摘要: The luteinizing hormone-releasing hormone (LHRH) agonist ICI 118630 was found to increase testosterone production in purified rat testis Leydig cells a concentration- and time-dependent manner, but no consistent changes cyclic AMP levels were detectable. stimulation of steroidogenesis by LHRH be dependent on the concentration Ca2+ incubation medium; at least 1 mM required. calcium ionophore A23187 mimicked effects steroidogenesis, addition both compounds together did not further production. caused small which independent concentrations. evidence obtained this study indicates that agonist-stimulated is primarily mediated AMP.
