摘要: Abstract Ultra high-temperature shear zones formed with interstitial melts present during the emplacement of Poe Mountain anorthosite, Wyoming. The are characterized by coarse-grained plagioclase flat extinction and rare deformation microstructures. Dissected grain microstructures suggest that underwent recrystallization ‘fast’ boundary migration. Orthopyroxene crystallized from as strain-free, foliation-parallel tablet grains.
