Identity Dilemmas of Chronically Ill Men

摘要: Chronic illness frequently comes to men suddenly with immediate intensity, severity, and uncertainty. Because contract more serious life-threatening chronic illnesses than women, experiencing causes different identity dilemmas. This paper explores men's dilemmas by studying how experience looking at assumptions about masculinity affected their identity.
