摘要: This paper describes a helical-spring microbalance made of 3-mil tungsten wire and enclosed in Pyrex glass housing. It was used connection with problem involving measurement rates thermal degradation polymers vacuum by the loss-of-weight method. The balance has sensitivity about 550 µ/mg is so constructed as to avoid errors that might be caused expansion its parts or supports holding cathetometer it.
