摘要: When a dividing cell's DNA is damaged, that cell needs to stop so the damage can be repaired. There are two main points at which cell-division cycle halted. A study of one these -- G2 DNA-damage checkpoint shows there parts control. The first, initiation, does not seem depend on tumour-suppressor protein p53. But maintenance this checkpoint, it seems, does.
