摘要: The discrimination of excess toxicity from narcotic effect plays a crucial role in the study modes toxic action for organic compounds. In this paper, data 758 chemicals to Daphnia magna and 993 Tetrahymena pyriformis were used investigate toxicity. result showed that mode is species dependent. ratio (TR) calculated baseline model over experimentally determined values some classes (e.g. alkanes, alcohols, ethers, aldehydes, esters benzenes) shared same both D. T. pyriformis. However, may share different anilines their derivatives). For interspecies comparison, reference threshold need be between indicates enhancement driven by reactive or specific not all compounds exhibit theory, TR should related with experimental uncertainty. uncertainty only brings difficulty discriminating category chemicals. real which identify based on critical concentration difference inside body, rather than outside body (i.e. EC50 IGC50). bioconcentration factors can greatly predicted factors, resulting ratios leading mis-classification outliers.
