摘要: A negative dc potential shift typically develops prior to an anticipated event or performance. These slow potentials (SPs, a typical example of which is the contingent variation, CNV) have been related behavior within frameworks attention (e.g., Tecce 1972), preparation Gaillard 1978; Loveless 1979), and controlled processing Cooper et al. 1979). However, it seems still be topic discussion what extent SPs represent nonspecific states activation/arousal preparation, whether they rather indicate preparatory processes in specific manner, i.e., distinct brain regions for behavioral responses. In attempt integrate various findings interpretations reported literature we conceptualized as indicator “cerebral potentiality” that facilitates cerebral performance (Rockstroh 1982). With regard specificity potentiality supply has assumed resources are allocated cortical neuronal networks depending on actual well requirements (Elbert Rockstroh 1987). From this model follows should generated regulated with respect temporal aspects SP generation, “the timing E-wave when time process reflects needed” (Ruchkin 1986), area specific, those will involved
