摘要: ABSTRACT Objective To study nonverbal social cue perception in children with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD; n = 86), conduct problems (CP; 24), or both disorders (ADHD+CP; 63), as well normal controls ( 27). Method Using a standardized test of receptive processing abilities, participants were required to interpret emotional cues from pictures facial expressions and recordings voices. Results As predicted, CP ADHD significantly less accurate at interpreting emotions than controls. However, differed the type errors made: group's generally random nature, whereas group tended misinterpret anger. Contrary our hypothesis, ADHD+CP performed better groups, was control group, displayed unique pattern errors. Conclusions These results support idea that deficiencies associated arise biased emotion, originate failure attend appropriate affect. The findings also theory comorbid is distinct disorder.
