摘要: Styrene was radically copolymerized with a spiro-orthoester an acrylate group (SOE-AC), and terpolymerized SOE-AC diethyl(methacryloyloxymethyl)phosphonate (DEMMP). This done for several different feed ratios, to obtain polymers moieties in the side chain. These were then crosslinked ytterbium triflate, as cationic initiator, via double ring-opening polymerization. The thermal stability fire retardant properties of these materials evaluated by TGA LOI. DEMMP-containing give which significantly more flame than nonphosphorus-containing materials, indicated LOI measurements. volume changes measured upon crosslinking density measurements gas pycnometer. In all cases, expansion observed. indicates that is effective monomer crosslinkable without changes.
