摘要: Samples of human Stratum corneum (St. c.) collected by the cantharidin method and suspended in a controlled atmosphere usually show raised extensibility when relative humidity (RH) is raised, and, consequently, greater solidity. When St. c. samples were not but laid on wet pad, did change RH was elongation decreased owing to strong reduction breaking strength; became more fragile. Electron optical microscopic studies revealed that this latter phenomenon due an alteration links between cells, i. e. cell interlockings, desmosomes, intercellular cement. In experiment, stiff as air, supple vivo; technics provide good model for vivo hyperhydrated
