The concept of equity when developing clinical practice guidelines

摘要: This systematic literature review sought to identify methodologies and technical strategies emphasising healthcare services outcomes when incorporating the concept of equity into Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPG). 940 references were identified, which 20 fulfilling inclusion criteria selected. While no reports found describing or evaluating an explicit methodology for considerations CPG, some studies revealed related processes, summarised as follows: 1. Target population involvement during all phases designing, implementing CPG; 2. "Cultural capacity" seen being necessary in CPGs' "cultural translation" interventions have less disparity regarding their application results; 3. Considering psycho-social factors could affect and; 4. system inequities so that any health intervention would also confront risks obstacles care due socioeconomic status. It was concluded CPGs be a potential route promoting more equitable effects by standardising if, processes described above, they actively seek avoid unjust differences access and/or quality prescribe.
