摘要: The characteristics of induction motors having more than three phases are presented. sequence sets the symmetrical component method used to determine inductances with time harmonics in source waveform such as for inverter sources. effect stator coil pitch on these is explained. It shown that some cannot induce rotor currents many phases, thereby reducing torque pulsations and I2R loss below values three-phase motors. Other advantages lower current per phase ability motor start run one open. Six nine-phase found be especially attractive.
