摘要: This study investigates the incidence of skin injuries and retrospectively estimates doses in a sample patients who had multiple coronary angiographies underwent more than four percutaneous transluminal angioplasties (PTCAs), performed primarily by same team cardiologists university hospital. A database 7824 PTCAs during last 14 years was analysed. Patients were selected reviewed cardiologist two radiotherapists with experience radiation-induced injuries. retrospective analysis using data from patients' files quality assurance (QA) programme hospital, which includes periodic patient dose measurements. included study. Each undergone between 4 5 10 PTCAs, over period 2–10 years. The estimated mean dose–area product per procedure 46 Gy cm2 for angiography 82 Gy cm2 ...
