摘要: Primary central nervous system (CNS) lymphomas are rare neoplasms which usually not associated with Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) in immunocompetent patients. The aim of this study was to investigate the incidence EBV primary CNS Turkish population. Thirty-two diagnosed according WHO 2008 criteria were included study. presence small ribonucleic acids investigated by situ hybridization using encoded RNA oligonucleotides. expression CD10, Bcl-6, MUM-1/IRF-4, Bcl-2, and Ki-67 evaluated immunohistochemistry. patient cohort 20 male patients 12 female a median age 53.5 years (range 13-75). Seven (22%) cases classified as germinal center (GC) 25 (78%) non-GC phenotype Hans criteria. Twenty-six (81%) showed strong Bcl-2 index 78%. observed four lymphoma (12.5%). Most show high proliferative rate. from Turkey appears be higher than that Western countries.
