摘要: With the help of an automated tracking system we have studied characteristics transient light growth response Phycomyces. The shows a sharply defined latency. Q10 reciprocal latency is 2.4. Response patterns at different peaks action spectrum are same. gradual variation magnitude over wide range adapted intensifies parallels that phototropism. responses to saturating stimuli exhibit strong oscillation with constant period 1.6 min and variable damping. sinusoidally varying intensities show bandwidth 2.5 x 10-3 Hz. linear dependence phase shift on frequency largely attributable observed pulse stimuli. In high intensity previously suspected increase steady-state rate has been confirmed. mutants selected for diminished phototropism investigated. Many these sizable but grossly distorted responses.
