摘要: Hard machining for manufacturing dies and molds offers various advantages, but the productivity is often limited, mainly by tool life. This study investigates influence of cutting geometry on forces utilizing finite element simulations (FEM). A set conditions in numerical FEM were conducted using four different shaped tools axial force, radial force tangential found. The results this research help to explain conclusion that cylindrical control, equation actual S-shaped inserts involved a sphere; C-shaped, D-shaped T-shaped an ellipsoid with lengths short-half axis.
