摘要: Biomarker je charakteristika, ktera objektivně měřitelna a hodnotitelna jako indikator fyziologických biologických procesů, chorobných procesů nebo lecebne odpovědi. Může být definovan na urovni molekularni, buněcne, organove systemove. Z hlediska sveho zaměřeni se biomarkery děli diagnosticke, prediktivni, terapeuticke, preventivni ci profylakticke. tedy biologický indikator, který by nam měl pomoci spravně předvidat, diagnostikovat, lecit předchazet danemu onemocněni. V připadě schizofrenie neni v soucasne době k dispozici žadný biomarker, byl využitelný ramci běžne klinicke praxe. Nyni probiha intenzivni výzkum, nadějne jevi potencialni oblasti genetiky, epigenetiky, metabolomiky, elektrofyziologie imunologie. Schizofrenie onemocněni komplexni, bude třeba hledat „panely“ biomarkerů, nikoliv ojediněle nalezy.
