摘要: Ghrelin is a gut-derived peptide hormone, first isolated from the stomach. was initially characterized as growth hormone (GH) secretagogue, but it plays more important role potent orexigen and modulator of whole-body energy homeostasis. itself closely regulated by metabolic status. Bone remodeling constantly renews skeleton in highly energy-dependent fashion. Accordingly, bone metabolism tightly coupled to through integration peripheral central mechanisms, involving sympathetic nervous system factors such leptin. has been shown modulate osteoblast differentiation function, both directly perhaps also regulation GH-insulin-like factor axis. However, recently that ghrelin interacts with leptin modulating structure, constituting new mechanism couples In this review, we discuss cell its integrative coupling metabolism.
