摘要: Context: Patients with panhypopituitarism have impaired quality of life (QoL) despite GH replacement. They are profoundly androgen deficient, and dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) has been shown to a beneficial effect on well-being mood in patients adrenal failure possibly hypopituitarism. Objective: Our objective was determine the DHEA administration hypopituitary adults established replacement constant serum IGF-I. Design: A double-blind, placebo-controlled trial conducted over an initial 6 months followed by open phase DHEA. Setting: The study at tertiary referral endocrinology unit.
