摘要: A host base transceiver station BTS derives a reference timing signal from physical layer training (such as preamble) received neighbor network node/BTS. Downlink transmissions are then synchronized to the derived signal. This may be used holdover mode, such when determines that synchronization primary source is no longer reliable. In an embodiment, oscillator of phase locked Variations include one or multiple signals BTSs, selecting mechanism fails for several BTSs in same area, and how lock without dithering about target frequency. Apparatus computer programs also detailed.
