摘要: This paper draws upon a consumer survey carried out in Bucharest (Romania) to explore determinants of food choice transition economy. An adapted version the Theory Reasoned Action was developed. included attitude toward intention, habit and preference as independent variables. The structural equations modelling 'Analysis MOment Structures' AMOS showed significant positive influence all Similar other studies conducted European Union (EU) countries (Saba, Di Natale, 1998) outweighed study emphasises heterogeneity beliefs about food. Furthermore it suggested that there is scope for noneconomic variables explaining choices behaviour these emerging economies, though may be still limited relative economic factors. Further research on special groups required quantify non-economic factors compare results estimated Romania with which are candidates EU accession.
