摘要: Nanocomposites of poly(ethylene) glycol (PEG) 20000 filled with clay nanotubes (HNTs) were prepared. The thermal properties obtained from thermogravimetry and differential scanning calorimetry correlated to the morphology imaged by electron microscopy. Low amounts HNTs generate compact structure while large create craters voids. decrease polymer degradation temperature in presence amount nanoclay (ca. 80 wt%) is a consequence at mesoscale range. opposite effect observed low regime (up ca. 20 due gas entrapment into nanoparticles lumen. quantitative analysis PEG enthalpy melting allowed us characterize adsorption onto surface.
