摘要: AIMS: To determine the possible histogenesis of intracranial variant olfactory neuroblastoma. METHODS: Four specimens from three cases neuroblastoma were studied by light microscopy and immuno-histochemistry, electron in two cases. RESULTS: Light microscopical examination showed small cell tumour with additional features epithelioid cells one case ganglion another. Olfactory Homer-Wright rosettes present. All a uniform positive reaction to neurone specific enolase, S-100, cytokeratin antibodies. Glial fibrillary acidic protein was absent. The salient microscopic presence junctions, cytoplasmic intermediate filaments, basal bodies cytolasmic processes. Dense cored vesicles CONCLUSIONS: results strongly support view that neuroblastomas are epithelial origin differ conventional neuroblastomas.
