Highly efficient Brillouin slow and fast light using As(2)Se(3) chalcogenide fiber.

摘要: We demonstrate the generation of slow and fast light based on stimulated Brillouin scattering in As2Se3 chalcogenide fiber with best efficiency ever reported. The gain 43 dB is achieved only 60-mW pump power a 5-m single-mode fiber, which leads to optical time delay 37 ns 50-ns Gaussian pulse.
