摘要: Over the centuries horseback police officers have demonstrated a number of distinct advantages over their bipedal counterparts, but, with advent automobile, electronic communications, and need to cover large distances faster, mounted temporarily fell out favor. However, horse patrols witnessed resurgence in late 1900s into twenty-first century. This article examines policing its historical context demonstrates cyclical nature crime control.
