摘要: Abstract The interaction of UHMWPE with an electron beam in vacuum and the presence oxygen has been investigated. irradiated to various doses was examined Electron Paramagnetic Resonance (EPR) Fourier Transform infra-red (FTIR) spectroscopies. EPR used explore nature radicals produced upon irradiation follow their decay as a function time. Hydroperoxides formation distribution throughout samples were studied FTIR spectroscopy. A correlation between rate macroradicals that hydroperoxide proposed. Accordingly, lifetime secondary alkyl amorphous phase polymer found range approximately from 3 10 h.
