摘要: During the winter 2009, beach and dune nourishments have been executed at Vlugtenburg (Holland coast) in order to reinforce coastal defense. Natural processes such as wind waves are expected take care of effective efficient redistribution sand throughout system. The present study is part sub-project Monitoring Program Delfland Coast which main goal provide measurement data for process-based modeling interactions between foreshore dunes. Based on field realized November this MSc thesis aims find an procedure monitor aeolian transport (transport by wind) sediment over a beach. These measurements involved innovative devices methods. Four saltiphones were deployed different locations A forced deposition area was build up deposited volumes monitored using laser scanner. An analysis problems use formulas derived from tunnel experiments carried out. It followed derivation model describing relation measured with speed specific conditions. However, no transported extrapolation whole remains incomplete. Finally, existences fetch effect cross-shore decrease measured, though not accurately quantified.
