摘要: A method and apparatus for treating Alzheimer's disease is disclosed. The comprises delivering indomethacin or nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory agents having cyclooxygenase inhibitor action directly to the hippocampus lateral ventricle through an implanted catheter. catheter has a flexible distal end that in as preferred embodiment. either porous tip closed end. Where closed, plurality of elution holes are present delivered holes. part system includes pump coupled ventricle.
