摘要: Previous work with children showed significant effects of the relative values rewards given absolute magnitude on a measure task persistence and response-speed indicator movitation. The generality these findings to sample college women was investigated in this experiment. It concluded that considerable demonstrated. Relative reward affected trials extinction, speed responses see rewards, selfratings ability memorize. scores appeared provide an objective component motivation other than represented by more direct performance measures. Cognitive dissonance theory used account for some variance task-persistence scores. results were consistent theoretical expectations.
