摘要: Abstract : This thesis will argue the war in Chechnya occurred due to democratic structural weaknesses and that cessation of hostilities is result maturing norms. If this proposition correct then would add a potential corollary Democratic Peace Theory which transitional democracies may still fight each other but eventually seek peaceful settlement emerging internal constraints.
