摘要: Large scale stationary convection due to viscosity and resistivity in a current-carrying cylindrical plasma with free boundary is investigated. By using the magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) equations, it shown that there are four states which both marginal stationary. These analog of ordinary hydrodynamics. Therefore, possible define critical Rayleigh number characterizes onset steady convection. For numbers larger than number, whole nonlinear set MHD equations possesses convective solutions bifurcate from equilibrium solution.
