摘要: Measurement of plasma corticosterone is difficult because the handling associated with blood sampling from birds stressful. The use non-invasive means measuring stress could help to alleviate this problem. It was considered that accumulation into egg albumen provide a indicator in laying hens. present study examined relationship between and concentrations then determined what affect exposing hens known stressors had on concentrations. Laying were given subcutaneous injections either 0, 5, or 10 mg suspended peanut oil determined. Also, groups handled, exposed high ambient temperature moved new cages, all events be provoking, increased substantially these directly related measured albumen. When various stressors, level increased. found can convenient other birds.
