摘要: Abstract Inclusive energy access remains elusive globally. Centrally planned infrastructures tend to neglect marginalised and disparate populations while upfront costs make it rare for lower-income actors adopt off-grid renewable energy. This article identifies one emerging response by low-income secure through solar photovoltaic an innovative micro-finance enterprise. The AMP framework (awareness, motivation pathways) is used explore how why Tanzanian youths are adopting with what effects. Qualitative interviews field observations indicate awareness motivational factors of technology, cost, warranty service influence initial adoption decisions. Nodes associate co-benefits poverty reduction, low-carbon diversification away from livelihoods that highly vulnerable climate change. Framed as a ‘pathway’, the financing mechanism in this case presents inclusive model access.
