摘要: Abstract The primary purpose of this study is to develop a new test method with self-developed alternate biaxial splitting (ABS) fixture for evaluating fatigue behavior asphalt mixtures under tension–compression loading mode using method. A comparison was performed in the indirect tension (IDT) and ABS on laboratory-mixed concrete (AC-13) an optimum content 4.7%. results showed that strain growth rate samples increased slower than IDT increase cycles. When damage evolution reached steady state, ratio change (RDC) testing changed little maintaining greater zero all time. In contrast, RDC had positive–negative variation. laboratory life 4–23 times more at constant temperature 20 °C. It demonstrated creep effect compressive stress promoted healing micro-cracks produced life.
