摘要: Allergic rhinitis and asthma are common disorders effecting large percentages of the population Western countries. There multiple treatment options available for allergic stepwise approaches to therapy have been recommended. Montelukast is a cysteinyl leukotriene receptor antagonist that has found be effective both in asthma. This paper will describe pharmacology, safety, efficacy tolerability montelukast. It examine comparative montelukast other medications asthma, as well discuss recent studies combination therapy.
