摘要: The symposium upon which this book is based was organized in honor of Werner Stumm, the founder aquatic chemistry. A total 21 invited papers and 30 posters were presented at special symposium. wide spectrum scientists (surface chemists, soil geochemists, limnologists, oceanographers) engineers (environmental, civil, chemical) attended. opened with a paper by Stumm titled "The Inner Sphere Surface Complex: Key to Understanding Reactivity", followed five key talks representing major topics symposium: surface chemistry, earth sciences, biology, redox photochemistry, engineering.
