摘要: Beside symptoms and clinical signs radiological findings are crucial in the diagnosis of lumbar spinal stenosis (LSS). We investigate which quantitative described literature radilogical criteria used to establish inclusion clincical studies evaluating different treatments patients with stenosis. A search was performed Medline, Embase Cochrane library identify papers reporting on describe LSS systematic reviews investigating effects treatment modalities. 25 four related evaluation were found. Ten parameters identified quantify Most often reported measures for central antero-posterior diameter (< 10 mm) cross-sectional area 70 mm2) canal. For lateral height depth recess, foraminal typically used. Only 63 primary included defining prognostic studies. There is a need consensus well-defined, unambiguous define order improve diagnostic accuracy formulate reliable
