摘要: Abstract Chromium alloy has been widely employed in industry due to high strength and corrosion resistance. However, poor tribological performance directly affect the lifetime of chromium-based components. In order improve surface properties chromium alloy, we investigate effect typical patterns including micro-dimples, micro-grooves micro-grids on their friction wear behaviors generated by laser texturing. Experimental results show that laser-textured surfaces significantly reduce volume up 57%, especially for with micro-grids. The enhanced is mainly caused increased microhardness local quenched zones, capability trapping debris uniform stress distribution during sliding process.
