摘要: Wireless visual sensor network (VSN) can be said to a special class of wireless (WSN) with smart-cameras. Due its sensing capability, it has become an effective tool for applications such as large area surveillance, environmental monitoring and objects tracking. Different from conventional WSN, VSN typically includes relatively expensive camera sensors, enhanced flash memory powerful CPU. While energy consumption is dominated primarily by data transmission reception, consumes extra power onimage sensing, processing storing operations. The well-known energy-hole problem WSNs drastic impact on the lifetime VSN, because additional VSN. Most prior research issues are focusedon single device or given specific scenario. In this paper, we propose novel optimal two-tier deployment strategy scale Our architecture tier-1 nodes (VNs) tier-2 having only relay (RNs). mainly performs image collection, wards packets central sink node. We use uniform random distribution VNs minimize cost RNs deployed following two dimensional Gaussian so avoid problem. Algorithms also introduced that optimizes parameters shown enhance in manner.
