摘要: Sleep diary and actigraphy assessments of insomnia symptoms in patients with fibromyalgia (FM) are often discrepant. We examined whether opioid dose age interact predicting magnitude or direction discrepancies. Participants (N = 199, M = 51.5 years, SD = 11.7) FM completed 14 days diaries actigraphy. Multiple regressions determined average its interaction predicted diary/actigraphy discrepancies sleep onset latency (SOL), wake after (WASO) efficiency (SE), controlling for sex, use medication, evening pain total time. Higher greater discrepancy SOL SE. Opioid interacted to predict but not Specifically, higher was associated better subjective (shorter SOL, SE) than objective reports among younger adults, longer objectively measured older adults. did WASO In FM, a increases SE discrepancies, may depend on age. speculate that increased combined age-related factors, such as slow wave disruption, awakenings and/or cognitive decline, impact perceived sleep.
