摘要: Inclined branches of Pseudowintera colorata exhibit pronounced growth promotion to the lower (abaxial) side similar that found in gymnosperms. The only other significant difference between anatomy upper and regions is tracheids on have a larger microfibril angle. Other microscopic features normally associated with compression wood or tension are completely absent. longitudinal shrinkage samples from shown be related mean angle highly non-linear way, relatively small change large shrinkage. This result agreement hypothesis force generation arises during lignification phase secondary wall deposition critically dependent
