摘要: Antisera raised against porcine neuropeptide Y (NPY) and peptide YY (PYY) were characterized with regard to immunohistochemical staining, cross-reactivity several pancreatic polypeptide (PP)-related peptides, radioimmunoassayable tissue levels in the rat pig. The NPY antiserum (102B) reacted nerves many areas of both central peripheral nervous systems, but it did not stain endocrine cells pancreas or intestine. No evidence for any cross- reactivity related peptides PP family, such as avian PP, bovine PYY, gamma-MSH, FMRF-amide, (31–36), was obtained. N-terminally directed, regional seen by radioimmunoassay paralleled well occurrence NPY-immunoreactive structures study. High pressure liquid chromatography analysis revealed that material from cerebral cortex vas deferens had elution profiles similar those standard NPY. PYY mainly stained intestine a small neuron system brainstem rat. Although this slight radioimmunoassay, neuronal staining separate found intestine, above threshold also dorsal vagal complex other antisera investigated (raised FMRF-amide) caused abolished preabsorption This even if no detectable radioimmunoassay. These latter relationships, suggesting presence intestinal PP-like addition
