摘要: Objective. To determine the prevalen- ce of psychopathology in alcohol-dependent sub- jects that initiates treatment, as well its relation with sex. Material and methods. The Symptom Check List 90 Revised was administered to 518 dependent subjects (25.1% women) an outpatient treatment facility, concluded detoxification within first 14 days treatment. A comparison di- mensional profiles sex patients made, determining itself prevalence pathological cases base different criteria proposed previous investigations. Results. presence elevated, locating rank 58.9%-81.3%, ac- cording used criterion, being superior between alcoholic women. These displayed a profile characterized by elevated scores more dimensions psychoticism, obsession-compulsion, paranoid ideation interpersonal sensitivity, average intensity symptoms.
