摘要: Sterile and fertile shoots of a seed plant from the Late Aptian Crato Formation Brazil are described as Novaolindia dubia Kunzmann, Mohr Bernardes-de-Oliveira, gen. et sp. nov. These bear both simple lanceolate unique trilobed leaves. The leaf epidermis axis reveal mostly anomocytic stomata arranged in files. holotype is characterized by fragments structure consisting at least three capsule-like organs that lack discriminating features. unusual character combination discussed, may indicate fossils belong to hitherto unknown, most likely gymnospermous group. © 2007 Elsevier B.V.
