摘要: The association between dialysate calcium (DCa) concentration and mortality in hemodialysis (HD) patients is controversial. In this study, we evaluated the impact of DCa on incident HD patient. Incident were selected from Clinical Research Center registry—a prospective cohort study dialysis Korea. Patients categorized into 3 groups according to prescribed at time enrollment. High was defined as a 3.5 mEq/L, mid-DCa 3.0 mEq/L, low 2.5 2.6 mEq/L. primary outcome all-cause secondary outcomes cardiovascular or infection-related hospitalization. A total 1182 with included. number each group 182 (15.4%) high group, 701 (59.3%) 299 (25.3%) group. median follow-up period 16 months. had significantly higher risk compared (hazard ratio [HR] 2.23, 95% confidence interval [CI] 1.28–3.90, P = 0.005) (HR 3.67, CI 1.78–7.55, P < 0.001) after adjustment for clinical variables. associated hospitalization 3.25, 1.53–6.89, P = 0.002; HR 2.77, 1.29–5.94, P = 0.009, respectively).
