摘要: Two approaches were adopted to examine the irreversible interactions between water and a model epoxy resin (DGEBA/DDA). One was employ XPS investigate changes of chemical structure after immersion in at temperature 90°C followed by completely drying. The other use FTIR characterize degradation products formed during hygrothermal aging. results clearly showed that occurred elevated temperature. Water can lead incorporation C—O N—CO—N groups cut backbone chain. Based on obtained, tentative mechanism is proposed found explain reasonably well. © 1997 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
