摘要: Background: Unplanned readmissions serve as a marker for health care quality. Risk factors associated with unplanned readmission after microvascular free tissue transfer have never been examined. In this study, we sought to identify perioperative predictors of 30-day in flap patients. Methods: The National Surgical Quality Improvement Program (NSQIP) database was retrospectively reviewed all patients who underwent 2011. Multivariate logistic regression models were used estimate independent readmission. Results: Among patients, rate 7.9%. multivariate analysis, the only factor that significantly predicted (P < 0.05) open wound/wound infection (odds ratio [OR] 2.71). Postoperative variables included surgical complications (OR 5.43), medical 5.62), and reoperation 3.94). Flap failure not Conclusions: our presence either infection, development complications, reoperations readmissions. Further research predictive is suggested avoid costly, unnecessary, preventable © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Microsurgery 35:13–20, 2015.
