摘要: Summary Background Over the past 30 years, nanotechnology has evolved dramatically. It captured interest of variety fields from computing and electronics to biology medicine. Recent discoveries have made invaluable changes future prospects in nanomedicine; introduced concept theranostics. This term offers a patient specific ‘two one’ modality that comprises diagnostic therapeutic tools. Not only shown great impact on improvements drug delivery imaging techniques, but also there been several ground-breaking regenerative medicine. Aim Gastroenterology invites multidisciplinary approach owing high complexity gastrointestinal (GI) system; it includes physicians, surgeons, radiologists, pharmacologists many more. In this article, we concentrate current developments nano-gastroenterology. Methods Literature search was performed using Web Science Pubmed engines with terms – nanotechnology, nanomedicine gastroenterology. Article concentrated since 2005. Results We described original innovative approaches delivery, inflammatory disease cancer-target treatments. Here, reviewed advances GI nanoparticles as fluorescent contrast, their potential for site-specific targeting. review depicted various novel medicine nanomaterials scaffold designs induced pluripotent stem cells cell source. Conclusions Developments opened new range possibilities help our patients. vehicles, tools early targeted detection nanocomposite materials tissue constructs overcome cosmetic or physical disabilities.
