摘要: Abstract Feedwater heaters play an important role in improving power plant thermal efficiency. High pressure feedwater are generally of shell and tube type heat exchangers which have three shrouded zones the shell. In present study, a mathematical model is suggested for performance evaluation three-zone heater. Proposed capable predicting effects variation liquid level load condition. The verified by experimental results existing literature. Then impact increase or decrease on characteristics evaluated typical horizontal high influence water drain cooler approach analyzed quantitatively. Results show sharp low It also shown that at full condition, heater more sensitive to changes.
