New Analysis of the Pentad System of Methane and Prediction of the (Pentad-Pentad) Spectrum

摘要: Abstract The pentad system (ν 1 , ν 3 2ν 2 + 4 ) of methane 12 CH has been reanalyzed with a partly reduced fourth-order (206 parameters) Hamiltonian for energy levels and second-order (13 dipole moment expansion infrared intensities. In addition to data, new experimental observations have used: hot bands (pentad-dyad), Raman bands, microwave transitions among levels. obtained standard deviations (for J ≤ 18) the same order magnitude as accuracies (0.001-0.002 cm −1 or wavenumbers, 80 kHz frequencies, 8% intensities). view atmospheric planetary applications, improved predictions spectrum, including weak absorptions, are available. A prediction (pentad-pentad) spectrum is also given suggest further possible observations.
